Those are my favourites too, although id add Netload to that list.

All have good features, have good download speed, and are generous to free users.

Im surprised we dont see more files on megaupload, i think their service is excellent.

for me MU is very slow, never faster than 3 megabits/s
why RS is (unfortunately) the only hosting that uses my line on 100%
It's time to buy RapidShare Premium!.

It depends on the file, but i usually get 8Mbits download speed(my max) from Megaupload as a free user. Also there is no 1 hour wait between each download, just 45 seconds for each file. There is a limit to the amount you can get in one day, but i've often managed to get a whole movie no problem. Also you can sign up for a free membership, which improves your free download abilities slightly.

As a premium user you get access to excellent file management utilities, and the uploading options are fantastic. You can even remotely upload any rapidshare file straight to your account(if anyone want to know how message me,) or rip files straight from paysites.

In support to all that was said by Logger above: I registered a Premium user at Megauplaod and found it VERY convenient. Also the speed (both download and upload) is quite impressive.

would it be possible to show multiple filehosts with the filter? for example, to see all rapidshare AND megaupload AND netload, but to filter out everything else.

i can get up to 2mb/s from netload half that from rs and similar from hotfile.

Rapidshare is more convenient in the fact that there are more sites and more links to more things. I like netload.in to but I can't get flashget or any other downloader I have tried to work with it and there is way less options for downloading. So I could do without netload but not rapidshare. Even thou rapidshare has a limit on downloads a mouth.

what i have in my rs account is:
Traffic left: 25 000 MB (+40 GB)

it's more than enough for a month
